Where do you live: South of Beulah
Hometown:
Beulah is truly home! I was born and raised just south of town, proudly blue and gold from the start. After high school, I moved away for about 20 years, but life has a funny way of bringing you back where you belong. My husband, two sons, and I returned to Beulah in 2008, and we’ve been here ever since.
Tell us about yourself:
I’m blessed with an amazing husband, Kurt, two wonderful adult sons, Joe and Ren, and the best dog in the world, Skeeter! Joe, a third-generation Beulah graduate, works as a field engineer and project manager at MAP General Mechanical Contractors, and Ren, also a Beulah alum, is an environmental scientist for the ND Public Service Commission. Ren and his fiancée, Courtney, are excitedly planning their wedding for August 2025. This is my tenth year teaching at Beulah High School, where I’m proud to be a part of the community as the treasurer of the BEF and a member of Chapter BC P.E.O. Our family loves to travel, and we cherish our peaceful life on my family farm, which we’re committed to protecting and preserving.
What brought you to the BEF:
My involvement with the BEF began when I found myself as the last remaining member of the Beulah Music Booster Club. Determined to keep the club’s spirit and purpose alive, I collaborated with Janet Staloch to transition it under the BEF umbrella. Since then, it’s been an incredible experience, and I’ve continued with BEF because I deeply believe in its mission and find joy in supporting students by awarding scholarship funds and supporting teachers by awarding grants!
